Cody Derr - Actor & Founder of Moon Dust Studios

With an extensive over 18-year acting journey, Cody's passion ignited in high school and community theater, honed under Ed Herendeen, founder of The Contemporary American Theater Festival at Shepherd University. Transitioning to NYC, he delved into film with advanced on- camera techniques by Penny Templeton.

Post NYC, Cody filmed his debut feature in DC and then moved to Los Angeles, studied with Anthony Meindl and has resided for the last 11 years. Awarded as ‘Best Actor’ at local film festivals for his social issue short films, Cody now appears in TV shows like Hulu's "Reboot" alongside Keegan Michael Key and Judy Greer as well as bringing life to Disney’s brand new character, Arthur Quinn, helping to launch Disney’s newest cruise ship – The Disney Treasure.

Now, Cody has created his own production company, Moon Dust Studios, with his Los Angeles team. Moondust Studios exists to turn bold ideas into beautifully executed visuals. With a collaborative spirit and a deep love for storytelling, delivering high-quality productions that resonate and inspire.
